Pilz PILZ-840420 is a protection unit designed for thermistor monitoring relay thermistor monitoring with a manual reset design. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. The unit has a net height of 87 mm and is equipped with fixed screw terminal connections. It supports a supply voltage of 20.4-26.4Vac (24Vac nominal) and 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal), falling under the S1MO sub-range. The dimensions include a width of 22.5 mm and a depth of 121 mm, with a degree of protection rated at IP40. Constructed with a PPO housing, it has a net width of 22.5 mm and consumes 2 W of power. The operating mode is manual reset in a normally energized mode. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 °C. The unit features 2 x auxiliary outputs (2CO changeover / 2xSPDT-NO/NC contacts) for digital outputs, 2 x analog inputs (T1-T2 measuring circuits), and 2 x reset circuit inputs (X2-X1) for digital inputs. Its protection functions include overheating protection through thermistor monitoring.
