Pilz PILZ-838000 is a protection unit designed for thermistor monitoring relay applications, featuring DIN rail mounting for easy installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and has a net height of 87 mm. The unit is equipped with fixed screw terminal connections and requires a supply voltage of 340-440Vac, with 400Vac nominal. Part of the S1MN sub-range, it measures 22.5mm in width, has a degree of protection of IP40, and is housed in PPO material. The power consumption is rated at 3.5 VA, and the net depth is 121 mm. This protection unit offers both automatic and manual reset operating modes in a normally energized configuration. It can withstand ambient air temperatures for storage between -40 and +85°C. The unit includes 2 x auxiliary outputs (2CO changeover / 2xSPDT-NO/NC contacts) for digital outputs, 2 x analog inputs (T1-T2 measuring circuits), and features overheating protection. Additionally, it has 2 x reset circuit inputs for digital inputs and boasts a mechanical durability of 10 million operations at no load.
