Pilz PILZ-827225 is a protection unit designed for single-phase voltage monitoring with a DIN rail mounting option. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -15 to +55 °C and has a net height of 87 mm. The design ensures that measuring inputs are not polarity-sensitive. It features safety output contacts ratings of 0.1A-5A at 240Vac (AC-1; 1200VA) and 2A at 230Vac (AC-15), with fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage requirement is 20.4-26.4Vac (24Vac nominal) under the sub-range name S1UM. Dimensions include a width of 22.5mm and a degree of protection rated at IP40. The frequency measuring range is 0.4-400Hz, housed in a PPO material. It is suitable for single-phase (1AC) input networks with a rated voltage (AC) for measuring voltage adjustable between 0.1-500Vac/dc. The net width and depth are 22.5 mm and 121 mm, respectively, with a power consumption of 2 VA. Operating modes include fault latching/non-latching and normally energized/de-energized modes. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 °C. The unit has 1 x auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 240Vac AC-1 resistive load) for digital outputs, and digital inputs include 1 x de-energized mode input (Y1-Y2) and 1 x latching input (Y3). Protection functions cover overvoltage with a response time of 0.1-10 s.
