PILZ-787435 Pilz Electrical Safety Devices

Pilz PILZ-787435 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with functions including safety gate monitoring, instantaneous and delayed E-STOP monitoring, and limit switch monitoring. It features a monitored manual reset and is suitable for DIN rail mounting. This part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and has a net height of 101 mm. The safety output contacts are rated at 8A for both 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 7A for 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A for 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable spring terminal connections. As part of the PNOZ XV2P sub-range, it measures 45mm in width, offers an IP40 degree of protection, and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The housing is made from PPO with an ABS front, and the unit consumes 4.5 W of power. Its depth is 121 mm. The operating modes include detection of earth faults and shorts across contacts, with automatic or monitored start options. It can increase the number of available contacts by connecting to contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays. It provides 2 x instantaneous safety outputs and 2 x delayed safety outputs, with a time-delay selection ranging from 0.1s to 30s. The relay also includes 2 digital inputs, 1 start input, and 1 reset input, supporting both operating modes with or without detection of shorts across contacts.
