Pilz PILZ-784193 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and light beam device monitoring for both type 2 (with or without test pulse) and type 4. It supports monitored manual reset and start-up testing with AND input and OR input, including a self-test feature. This part is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. It has a net height of 101 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 6A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 6A at 240Vac (AC-1), 4A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 3A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable spring terminal connections. The PILZ-784193, part of the PNOZ e6.1p sub-range, measures 45mm in width and 121mm in depth, with a degree of protection rated at IP40. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is constructed with a PPO housing and an ABS front housing. The operating modes include single-channel operation with input wiring in accordance with EN 60204, dual-channel operation with or without detection of shorts between the pushbutton contacts, automatic start, and monitored start. It features 4 x instantaneous safety outputs, 2 x instantaneous safety outputs (semiconductor outputs), 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output (semiconductor output), and 2 x test pulse outputs. Protection functions include 2 operating modes with or without detection of shorts across contacts. Digital inputs comprise 1 x digital input, 2 x logic inputs, 1 x feedback input, 1 x start input, and 1 x self-monitoring input.
