Pilz PILZ-784190 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and light beam device monitoring type 2 (with or without test pulse). It features a monitored manual reset, start-up testing with AND input and OR input, and a self-test function. This part is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. It has a net height of 101 mm, a rated current of 1.5A, and utilizes spring terminal connections. The PILZ-784190 belongs to the PNOZ e5.13p sub-range, measures 22.5mm in width, and has a net depth of 121 mm. It offers a degree of protection of IP40 and requires a supply voltage of 19.2-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, ensuring compatibility with evaluation devices for safety sensors. Its operating mode includes dual-channel operation with a redundant input circuit, detection of earth faults in the input and start circuits, automatic start, and monitored start. The relay can increase the number of available contacts by connecting to contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays. The protection functions include 2 operating modes (with or without detection of shorts across contacts), and it has digital inputs for enhanced functionality, including a digital input, a logic input, a feedback input, a start input, and a self-monitoring input.
