Manufacturer:Pilz
Category:Electrical Safety Devices
Product Lifecycle:Active
Product description
Pilz PILZ-774050 is a single-channel safety relay designed for safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, and limit switch monitoring. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The relay has a net height of 87 mm and supports a rated current for safety output contacts of 6A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 6A at 240Vac (AC-1), 6A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage requirements are 20.4-26.4Vac (24Vac nominal) and 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal) for AC and DC inputs, respectively. This part belongs to the PNOZ X7.1 sub-range, measures 22.5mm in width, 121 mm in depth, and offers a degree of protection of IP40. The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, and the unit consumes 1.5 W of power. It operates in single-channel mode without redundancy in the input circuit, detecting earth faults in the start and input circuit. The relay can be started automatically once the input circuit is closed or manually with both the input and start circuits closed. It allows for an increase in the number of available contacts by connecting contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays. The digital outputs include 1 x instantaneous safety output (1NO / SPST-NO each made of 2 N.O. contacts in series; 6A 24Vdc DC-1 or 240Vac AC-1 resistive load) (13-14) and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output (1NC / SPST-NC made of 2 N.C. contacts in parallel) (21-22), with digital inputs comprising 1 x digital input (24Vdc; 50mA) and 1 x start input (Y1-Y2).
