Pilz PILZ-774009 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with functions including safety gate monitoring, instantaneous and delayed E-STOP monitoring, and limit switch monitoring. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 87 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 8A at 240Vac (AC-1), 7A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through fixed screw terminal connections. As part of the PNOZ 2VJ sub-range, it measures 112.5mm in width, has a degree of protection of IP40, and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, and it consumes 6.5 W of power. The net depth is 121 mm. Operating modes include automatic and manual start, with the capability to detect earth faults and short circuits in the input circuit. It features 3 x instantaneous safety outputs, 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output, and 2 x delayed safety outputs with adjustable time delays. The protection functions include 2 operating modes with or without detection of shorts across contacts. Digital inputs include 2 x digital inputs, 1 x feedback loop input, 1 x start input, and 1 x reset input.
