Pilz PILZ-773810 is a Safety I/O unit designed for DIN rail mounting, compatible with both 35mmx7.5mm and 27mm DIN rails. This unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +60°C and features a net height of 94 mm. It is designed specifically for incremental encoders (sin/cos; TTL) and offers various connection types including screw terminals, spring-loaded terminals, and an 8-pin RJ45 female connector. The unit is part of the Safe I/O module sub-range and has an IP20 degree of protection. It supports a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and 4.9-5.1Vdc (5Vdc nominal, module supply via base unit), with a power consumption of 1W from the supply via the base module. The frequency range accommodates 0-3kHz for proximity switches and 0-500kHz for incremental encoders. Constructed from PPO and ABS materials, the unit has a net width of 45 mm and communicates via the RS-422 protocol.
