Product description
Pilz PILZ-328131 is a digital I/O electronic safety module designed for backplane or rackmount installation. It features potential isolation between input and module supply with functional insulation and a rated surge voltage of 2500V. The unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 110.8 mm. Its design includes device code 4040h with 8 ST input bits plus 8 ST status bits, and it utilizes plug-in/detachable cage-clamp terminal connections. As part of the Safe I/O module sub-range, it offers a degree of protection of IP20 and requires a supply voltage of 16.8-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of PPE material, and the module has a net width of 12.5 mm and a net depth of 72.5 mm. It can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. The module includes 4 x digital outputs with test pulse capability (24Vdc; 0.25A) and is short-circuit proof with potential isolation. It also features 8 x digital inputs (24Vdc; 3-3.5mA; IEC61131-2 Type 3; -3...+5Vdc at "0"; +11...+30Vdc at "1"). The power consumption is 0.57 W for module supply, with a maximum power consumption of an input at 0.11 W, periphery supply module power consumption with no load at 0.29 W, and test pulse output at 0.13 W. The maximum power dissipation/losses are 2.3 W, and it has a processing time with a software filter time of 0-10 ms.
