Panasonic PM-R65W is a compact U-shaped (fork type) photoelectric sensor designed for precise detection with a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin connector for easy installation. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP40 and is constructed from PBT material for the housing, ensuring durability. It features a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-R65W provides two digital outputs (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA) for both light-ON and dark-ON conditions, with a rapid response time of 80µs. An orange LED serves as a visual position indicator for operation status, and the sensor has a low current consumption of 15mA. It is capable of detecting objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm, making it suitable for a variety of precise sensing applications.
