Panasonic NA1-5 is a sensor array designed for light curtain sensor applications in picking operations. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and features a protective height of 100 mm. This part is pre-wired with a 2m 4-core (3-core on the emitter side) 0.2mm2 cabtyre cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. The NA1-5 offers a degree of protection rated at IP62 and is constructed from heat-resistant ABS for the case and acrylic for the lens cover, enhancing its durability. With a sensing distance of 1m (100cm or 1000mm) and a beam spacing of 25mm, it can detect objects as small as 35mm. It includes 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.01 seconds, facilitating efficient operation in automated environments.
