Panasonic HG-C1200 is a micro-laser (Class 2) distance triangulation sensor/transmitter designed for precise distance measurement. It features a 200mm measurement center with a red light color and is housed in die-cast aluminium. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m 5-core composite cable with bare end flying leads. It has a beam diameter of 300µm (0.3mm) and operates at a wavelength of 655 nm. Suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +45 °C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The HG-C1200 includes 1 analog output (0-5Vdc / 4-20mA), consumes 40mA at 24Vdc or 65mA at 12Vdc, and features 1 digital input (24Vdc NPN external input) and 1 digital output (24Vdc NPN open-collector). It can sense distances between 12cm and 28cm (120mm-280mm) with a measurement accuracy of 200µm (repeatability).
