EX-17E-C5 Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-17E-C5 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a polyethylene terephthalate housing, polyalylate lens, and bifurcation, ensuring durability and resilience. It operates with a current consumption of 25mA / 0.025 A and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. This sensor emits red light and can detect opaque objects as small as 2mm / 0.079". It features a visual position indicator with an orange LED that lights up when the output is ON, a red LED for incident beam detection, and a green LED indicating stable light reception or dark condition. With a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s and a digital output of 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA), it provides quick and reliable sensing capabilities. The EX-17E-C5 operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, has a sensing distance of up to 0.5m / 50cm / 500mm / 19.685in, and includes protection against output short circuits. This ultra-slim photo-electric sensor features side sensing and built-in amplification, making it versatile for a wide range of applications. It comes pre-wired with a 5m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The sensor operates at a wavelength of 680 nm, enhancing its sensing capabilities.
