Product description
NIDEC HS72-07401000A10101AB100 is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the HS72 series designed for variable speed/frequency control with rated frequency outputs of 0-3000Hz in open loop and 0-1250Hz in closed loop applications. It features a built-in brake transistor and dual Safe Torque Off (STO) functionality suitable for high-speed applications, alongside air cooling for thermal management. The unit has dimensions of frame size 7, measuring H21.9" x W10.6" x D11" (H557mm x W270mm x D280mm), and supports Ethernet communication protocol. It operates with a rated current of 112A under normal duty and 100A under heavy-duty conditions, requiring a supply voltage of 380Vac-480Vac (specifically 400Vac / 415Vac). The drive is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +40°C and has a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1 UL open. It accommodates a 3-phase input network with a supply input frequency of 45-66 Hz and an output frequency up to 3000 Hz. The device includes 2 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc, with terminal 8 configurable as a motor protection thermistor) and 3 x digital outputs (2 x 100mA / 0-24Vdc source and 1 x 2A / 240Vac source; relay contact type). It delivers a rated active power of 55kW under normal duty and 45kW under heavy-duty, with a rated power of 75HP for both duty types.
