SDBF-FBS-1L-NU-K-9-N-LE Festo Position Sensors

Festo SDBF-FBS-1L-NU-K-9-N-LE is a proximity/magneto-resistive position sensor designed for detecting positions with high precision. It belongs to the SDBF series and features a square shape suitable for 1/4" slots with a 60° cable outlet that contains paint-wetting impairment substances. The sensor is constructed with a thermoplastic housing and a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cable, ensuring durability. It is pre-wired with a 3-core cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The cable is black, and the sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 5-28Vdc, accommodating 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems. It employs a screw-type mount for secure attachment and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +80°C. The sensor offers a high degree of protection with a NEMA 6 rating and features a dovetail slot design. It has one digital output (NPN; 200mA) and includes protection functions against short circuits and reverse polarity. The response time is exceptionally quick, from OFF to ON in 4μs (0.000004 s), and it operates in a normally open (NO) mode.
