Festo DSNU-5/16-1-P-A is a double-acting single-ended pneumatic cylinder designed for mounting via accessories. It features a round cylindrical shape with a bore size of 5/16" (B5/16") and a stroke length of 1" (S1"). The cylinder is constructed from high-alloy stainless steel for the cylinder barrel and piston rod, with a wrought aluminium alloy cover, and uses nitrile rubber (NBR) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U(PU)) for static seals. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and offers moderate-corrosion stress resistance (CRC Class 2). This model is part of the DSNU Imperial/Inch series, designed based on ISO6432, featuring built-in magnets, elastic cushioning at both ends, and the capability for operation with oil lubrication. Position sensing is achievable via a proximity sensor. The cylinder uses compressed air as per ISO8573-1:2010 [7;4;4] standards, with a connection type of 6-32 UNC-2A male threaded rod and 10-32UNF threaded pneumatic port. It operates at a pressure range of +1 to +10 bar.
