Festo DSNU-3/8-4-P-A is a double-acting, single-ended pneumatic cylinder designed for mounting via accessories. It features a high-alloy stainless steel cylinder barrel and piston rod, with covers made from wrought aluminium alloy. The static seals are crafted from nitrile rubber (NBR) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE-U(PU)), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of operating environments. This cylinder operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and offers moderate corrosion resistance (CRC Class 2). Its round cylindrical shape is part of the DSNU Imperial/Inch series, adhering to ISO6432 standards. The design includes built-in magnets, elastic cushioning at both ends, and allows for operation with oil lubrication. Position sensing is achievable via a proximity sensor. The DSNU-3/8-4-P-A utilizes compressed air in accordance with ISO8573-1:2010 [7;4;4] standards, connecting through a 6-32 UNC-2A male threaded rod and a 10-32UNF threaded pneumatic port. It operates at a pressure range of +1 to +10 bar, with a 3/8" bore size and a 4" stroke length.
