The R55FQ, part of the R55F series, incorporates TEACH mode functionality for plastic fiber optimization and is pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for straightforward connectivity. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environments. The device operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with glass fiber, offering a sensing distance of up to 140mm. The R55FQ utilizes infrared (IR) light color for sensing and provides a single digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) with a rapid response time of 50μs (0.00005 s).
