It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and comes with a cylindrical (smooth) probe tip. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is plastic with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. It has a diameter of 3mm at the end and a 1mm fiber core, with a total length of 6ft / 2m.
