About the product
Banner Engineering PBF615U is a fiber optic sensor designed for diffuse-reflective system applications, featuring a miniature ferrule end tip with a bifurcated fiber in-line sensing mechanism. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and comes with a cylindrical (smooth) probe tip. The design incorporates a stainless steel sensing end and a plastic fiber with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath for durability. The diameter of the end tip is 0.82mm, and the fiber core diameter is 0.25mm. The total length of the sensor is 6 feet (approximately 2 meters), facilitating versatile installation options.
