Banner Engineering PBF46UHF is a fiber optic sensor designed for diffuse-reflective system applications, featuring a ferrule end tip and bifurcated fiber for in-line sensing. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a cylindrical (smooth) end tip with a diameter of 5.2mm at the sensing end and a 1mm fiber core. It is constructed with a stainless steel sensing end and a plastic fiber with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, ensuring durability and compatibility with various applications. The PBF46UHF has a length of 6ft (2m) and is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments.
