About the product
Banner Engineering MAR3016NX485Q is a sensor from the MINI-ARRAY 2-piece models series designed for measuring light screen array edge/profile with a focus on the receiver alone. This part features a 752mm array length and is housed in aluminum, adopting a rectangular shape. It has a beam spacing/pitch of 3/4" / 19mm and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PVC pigtail that terminates with an M12 mini-style connector. The MAR3016NX485Q operates on a supply voltage of 16Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc as the nominal voltage, and supports RS-485 communication protocol. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 UL type 1. The sensing distance of this sensor ranges from 90cm to 16.5m, and it features 2 x digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a resolution of 3/4" / 19mm. It is capable of detecting object sizes between 25.4mm and 38.1mm.
