Banner Engineering LX36EQ-34248 is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched light screen, functioning as an emitter alone. This unit features a 914mm array length encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It is pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It has a net height of 960mm, a width of 26mm, and a depth of 32mm. Designed to operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius, it offers a sensing distance between 30cm and 2m and can detect objects as small as 9.5mm. The LX36EQ-34248 is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, indicating its dust-tight and water-resistant qualities.
