Banner Engineering EA5R600PIXMODSRLCQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers two analog outputs (4-20mA) alongside two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, features a rectangular shape with dimensions including a 600mm array length, and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm. With a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance ranging from 30mm to 1.5m, it is specifically engineered for short-range, low-contrast measuring within light curtain array edge/profile sensing applications. The sensor is equipped with a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). It supports the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol and is designed with a degree of protection rated at IP65. The sensor's functionality is enhanced by its 120 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, facilitating precise detection and measurement tasks.
