EA5R450PUXMODSRLCQ Description
Banner Engineering EA5R450PUXMODSRLCQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, belonging to the EZ-ARRAY series. It features an aluminium housing and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with two analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. It has a rectangular shape with dimensions specifying a 450mm array length, and it is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm. With a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance ranging from 30mm to 1.5m, it is optimized for short-range low-contrast measuring in light curtain array edge/profile sensing applications. The sensor is protected to a degree of IP65, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It also features a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and supports a supply voltage range of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). Communication is facilitated via the Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol, and the sensor is designed with 90 beams and a 5mm beam spacing/pitch for precise detection capabilities.
