EA5R450PUXMODQ Description

Banner Engineering EA5R450PUXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, belonging to the EZ-ARRAY series. This sensor features an aluminium housing and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It is equipped with two analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. The device offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and has dimensions with a 450mm array length. It is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm, with a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance ranging from 40cm to 4m. This measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone) is rectangular in shape and comes pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. It requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and supports the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol. The sensor features 90 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, facilitating precise detection and measurement tasks.
