About the product
Banner Engineering EA5R450NUXMODSRQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, featuring an aluminium housing and operating within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It offers two analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and two digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatility in connectivity. With an IP65 degree of protection, this sensor is built for durability. It has a 450mm array length, can detect objects sized between 5-10mm, and operates with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 30mm to 1.5m, making it suitable for short-range measuring tasks. Part of the EZ-ARRAY series, it is specifically designed as a light curtain array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone). It comes pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and is powered by a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). The EA5R450NUXMODSRQ supports Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol and is designed with 90 beams at a 5mm beam spacing/pitch for precise detection.
