EA5R450NUXMODQ Description

Banner Engineering EA5R450NUXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone) and is equipped with a rectangular shape measuring 450mm in array length. It features a resolution of 5mm and can detect objects sized between 5-10mm within a sensing distance of 40cm to 4m. The EA5R450NUXMODQ offers two analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and two digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is protected by an IP65-rated enclosure, indicating a high degree of protection against dust and water. The sensor is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and supports a supply voltage range of 12Vdc to 30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). Communication is facilitated via the Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol, and the sensor's design includes 90 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, enhancing its detection capabilities.
