Banner Engineering EA5R2400PUXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and is specified as the receiver alone. It features a 2400mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m. It offers two analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), facilitating versatile connectivity options. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is protected to a degree of IP65, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The supply voltage requirement is 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. For communication, it utilizes the Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol. The sensor's design includes 480 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, encapsulated in a rectangular shape.
