Banner Engineering EA5R150PUXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and operates as the receiver alone. It features a 150mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 40cm to 4m, accommodating a variety of applications. It offers two analog outputs (0-10Vdc) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), facilitating versatile connectivity options. The sensor is equipped with a pre-equipped 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and supports the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol for efficient data transmission. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets with an IP65 degree of protection.
