About the product
Banner Engineering EA5R1500NIXMODQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and is specified as the receiver alone. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The sensor features a rectangular shape with dimensions including a 1500mm array length, capable of detecting object sizes between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. Its sensing distance spans from 40cm to 4m. The EA5R1500NIXMODQ is equipped with 2 analog outputs (4-20mA) and 2 digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), supporting versatile connectivity options. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and operates on a supply voltage range of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The sensor utilizes the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol for data transmission and is designed with 300 beams at a 5mm beam spacing/pitch for precise detection and measurement tasks.
