Banner Engineering EA5R1050PIXMODSRQ is a sensor designed for edge detection, belonging to the EZ-ARRAY series. It features an aluminium housing and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is equipped with two analog outputs (4-20mA) and two digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), ensuring versatile connectivity options. It has a rectangular shape with dimensions of a 1050mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm. With a resolution of 5mm and a sensing distance ranging from 30mm to 1.5m, it is specifically designed for short-range measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensing (receiver alone). The sensor is protected to a degree of IP65, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It comes pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation and operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). Communication is facilitated via the Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol, and it features 210 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch for precise detection.
