Banner Engineering BA23SMT, part of the Glass fiber series, is a fiber optic sensor designed with a diffuse-reflective system and a chemical-resistant bifurcated fiber for side or right-angled sensing. It features a stainless steel sensing end and a glass fiber with an FEP fiber sheath. The sensor has a 3.2mm fiber core diameter and comes in a cylindrical (smooth) end tip shape. It is 3ft or 910mm in length and can operate in ambient air temperatures up to +249°C.
