RI-12HA3S1-2B800-H1181 Description
Turck RI-12HA3S1-2B800-H1181 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange design with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and falls under the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The supply voltage requirement is between 10Vdc and 30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc to 24Vdc, and it supports a 300kHz pulse frequency. The encoder is constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It features a 1/2" hollow shaft bore and provides one digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. The maximum rotational speed is 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10^-6kg.m^2 and a resolution of 800ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
