RI-12H12T-2B1024-H1181 Turck Encoders

Turck RI-12H12T-2B1024-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for precise motion control applications. It features a compact design with a through hollow shaft flange and torque stop for mounting, ensuring stability and accuracy in operation. This encoder operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is equipped with a pre-equipped radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy integration. The RI-12 series encoder has a 2" casing diameter and offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 rating, making it suitable for harsh environments. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc, and can handle a pulse frequency up to 300kHz. Constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring, it is built for durability. The encoder features a 12mm hollow shaft bore and provides a single digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc). It includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field interference, and reverse polarity. Capable of reaching a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm and a resolution of 1024ppr, it has a moment of inertia of 6 x 10^-6kg.m^2, with a current consumption of 50mA at no load. Additionally, it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N, ensuring reliable performance in demanding applications.
