RI-10T6C-CA5000-H1181 Description
Turck RI-10T6C-CA5000-H1181 is a compact incremental rotary encoder featuring a 58mm clamping flange mounting and a solid shaft with optical sensing. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is designed for a 2" casing diameter with a 6mm shaft diameter and a 10mm shaft length. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, ensuring easy integration. It falls under the Type RI-10 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The supply voltage requirement ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems. It can handle a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz, equivalent to 3600rpm, and is constructed from durable materials including a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. The encoder features one digital output (open collector output; 5Vdc-30Vdc), and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. It supports a maximum rotational speed of 12000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and offers a resolution of 5000 pulses per revolution. The current consumption is 100mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
