Turck NI5-K11-AN6/S1680 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise, non-contact detection of metallic objects. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is characterized by its special version without an LED indicator. It features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. Part of the NI...-K11 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture resistance is critical. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a smooth cylindrical/barrel shape with an 11mm diameter. The housing material is PBT-GF30-V0, a glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, and the sensing face is made from PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, ensuring durability. It has a sensing distance of 5mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor is equipped with one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
