Turck LS-551-0500-LIU24PN8X-H1181 is a sensor designed for liquid level measurement within the LS-5 series. This instrumentation level sensor/switch features a cylindrical shape with a housing made of PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) and wetted parts constructed from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel. It has a measurement span of 500mm and is pre-equipped with an 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector alongside a G3/4" threaded male process connection. The sensor operates within a pressure range of -1 to +10 bar (-14.5psi to +145psi) and requires a supply voltage of 12-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It is designed to function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C. The LS-551-0500-LIU24PN8X-H1181 offers an IP67 degree of protection and includes 1 x analog output (4-20mA / 0-10Vdc; can be used as a NPN/PNP digital output) and 3 x digital outputs (NPN / PNP), with a response time of 400ms / 0.004 s.
