BIM-UNT-AP6X/S100/S1165 Description

Turck BIM-UNT-AP6X/S100/S1165 is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch that belongs to the BIM-UNT series. This embeddable Permaprox cylinder sensor operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a PP (Polypropylene) housing and sensing face, along with a TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) cable jacket. The sensor is designed with a T-groove body shape and is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft TPE-jacketed cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. Suitable for T-slot mounting, this sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +100°C. It is equipped with one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensor includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
