BIM-UNT-AN6X Description

Turck BIM-UNT-AN6X is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch that belongs to the BIM-UNT series. This embeddable Permaprox cylinder sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a PP (Polypropylene) housing and sensing face, along with a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. The sensor is designed with a T-groove body shape and is pre-wired with a 2m (approximately 6.5ft) PUR cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz (1000Hz) and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA (0.2 A), and the sensor operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. It is designed for T-slot mounting.
