BI5U-Q12-AP6X2 Description
Turck BI5U-Q12-AP6X2 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a housing and sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polyamide (PA12-GF30), with a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m (6.5ft) PUR cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It has a 12mm thick rectangular body and offers an IP68 degree of protection. The maximum switching frequency is 1kHz (1000Hz), and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The response time is 8ms (0.008s), and it includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 200mA (0.2A), and the operating mode is Normally Open (NO).
