BI2-M12-VN6X Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck BI2-M12-VN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap. The sensor is equipped with a PVC cable jacket and is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an M12 partially threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and it offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
