Schneider Electric ATV71HD15Y is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar 71 series designed for three-phase networks with a supply voltage range of 425-759Vac, including nominal voltages of 480Vac, 500Vac, 600Vac, and 690Vac. It features variable speed/frequency drive capabilities, U/F ratio (2 points / 5 points), sensorless flux vector control, ENA System, and vector control with or without speed feedback. The device can deliver 220% of the nominal motor torque for 2 seconds and 170% for 60 seconds. It is equipped with a built-in EMC filter, a built-in heatsink, and a coated version for enhanced chemical resistance. The ATV71HD15Y has an IP20, IP21, and UL type 1 degree of protection, with dimensions of H420mm x W240mm x D236mm. It supports a rated current of 18.5A at 500Vac and 4kHz, 17A at 575Vac and 4kHz, 18.5A at 690Vac and 4kHz, and can handle a maximum current of 27.75A for 60 seconds. For mounting, it is designed for wall installation. Communication is facilitated through Modbus and CANopen protocols. The output network frequency ranges from 0.1 to 599 Hz. It includes 1 analog output (0-10Vdc / 0-20mA), 5 digital inputs (24Vdc; sink/source), an additional programmable digital input, and a PWR safety input. The current consumption is specified as 19.8A at 500Vac for 11kW, 16.7A at 600Vac for 15 HP, and 20.2A at 690Vac for 15kW, with rated active power of 15kW at 690Vac and 11kW at 500Vac, and a rated power of 15HP.
