Schneider Electric ATV71HC50Y is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar 71 series, designed for variable speed and frequency control with a U/F ratio of 2 points / 5 points. It features sensorless flux vector control, ENA System, and vector control with or without speed feedback, capable of delivering 220% of the nominal motor torque for 2 seconds and 170% of the nominal motor torque for 60 seconds. This model comes with a built-in EMC filter, built-in heatsink, and a coated version for enhanced durability. It operates on a supply voltage of 425-759Vac, with specific nominal voltages at 480Vac, 500Vac, 600Vac, and 690Vac. The dimensions are H1390mm x W1120mm x D377mm, and it has a conformal coating for chemical resistance. The degree of protection is rated at IP30 UL type 1. The rated current specifications are 590A at 500Vac, 528A at 575Vac, 543A at 690Vac, with a maximum current of 973.5A for 2 seconds and 885A for 60 seconds. For installation, it supports wall mounting and uses Modbus and CANopen for communication protocols. It is designed for a 3-phase network with an output frequency range of 0.1-500 Hz.
