Schneider Electric ATV71HC50N4383 is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar 71 series. It features variable speed/frequency drive functionality with U/F ratio (2 points / 5 points), sensorless flux vector control, ENA System, and vector control with or without speed feedback. It can deliver 220% of the nominal motor torque for 2 seconds and 170% of the nominal motor torque for 60 seconds. The design includes a DC choke, built-in EMC filter, synchronous motor control, built-in heatsink, and a coated version for enhanced durability. It operates on a supply voltage of 323-528Vac (380Vac / 400Vac / 480Vac / 500Vac nom.) and has dimensions of H1390mm x W1120mm x D377mm. The part offers chemical resistance with a conformal coating (reinforced version) and has a degree of protection of IP30 UL type 1. The rated current is 941A (380Vac; 2.5kHz), 941A (460Vac; 2.5kHz), with a maximum current of 1552A for 2 seconds and 1411A for 60 seconds. It supports wall mounting and uses Modbus and CANopen communication protocols. The network is 3-phase (3P) with an output frequency of 0.1-500 Hz. It includes 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc / 0-20mA), 5 x digital inputs (24Vdc; sink/source) plus 1 additional digital input programmable as discrete or PTC input, and 3 x digital outputs.
