Part#:UB10.242
Manufacturer:Puls
Category:UPS (DC)
Product Lifecycle:Active
Product description
PULS UB10.242 is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) control module from the UB-series, featuring an external battery with temperature control and a 50% power reserve. It includes a green status LED for visual indication of operational states such as Ready, Buffering, Inhibit, and Replace Battery. The device is housed in an aluminium casing and utilizes spring-clamp connections for secure and efficient connectivity. With dimensions of W49mm x H124mm x D117mm, it supports a supply voltage range of 22.5Vdc to 30Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and offers a rated current of 10A at 22.5Vdc and 15A in buffer mode for less than 5 seconds at full output voltage. The UB10.242 is designed for DIN rail mounting and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +50°C. It consumes 2A at a 24Vdc input and up to 2.7A max., with an efficiency of 0.978 at 24Vdc input. The rated power is 360W at 24Vdc and 240W/360W in buffer mode, with power dissipation/losses of 2.9W at 0A output current and 5.5W at 10A output current. The ripple is maintained at 20mVpp across a frequency range of 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω. Its electrical durability is rated at 137400 hours at 40°C with a 10A output and 24Vdc input, equivalent to 15 years or 131400 hours at both 40°C with a 5A output and 25°C with a 10A output. The device ensures protection against output overvoltage (32Vdc typical, 35Vdc max.) and overload/short-circuit conditions, with a minimum short-circuit current of 17.9A (max. 21A) at load impedance. It is not designed for parallel use to increase output power but supports 1+1 redundancy for enhanced system reliability.
