Pilz PILZ-773634 is an I/O unit specifically designed as a digital output expansion module with the capability for short-term condensation during operation. It features DIN rail mounting (35mmx7.5mm; horizontal) and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +60°C. The unit has a net height of 94 mm and is a coated version intended for connection to a base unit. It has a rated current of 0.5mA for residual current at a "0" signal and 0.5A for semiconductor output, with Ub-0.5Vdc as the signal level at "1". The connection type accommodates plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminal connections, with a 7mm stripping length for screw connections and a 9mm stripping length for spring-loaded connections. As part of the Communication module sub-range, it measures 27mm in width and offers an IP20 degree of protection. Power consumption is 198 W for external output supply and 0.6 W from supply via base module, with a net depth of 121 mm. It can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C. The unit features 16 x digital outputs (standard semiconductor output; 24Vdc; 0.5A; 12W; overall performance max. 144W when t>50°C), includes protection functions such as galvanic isolation and potential isolation, has a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 30 V, and incorporates a time delay of 5s for switch-on and 20ms for supply interruption before de-energization.
