PILZ-506242 Pilz Safety Switches

Pilz PILZ-506242 is a non-contact door switch designed for magnetic safety applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +80°C and features a single connection design suitable for electronic or electromechanical relay systems. This switch has a 12mm diameter, utilizes a 5-pin M12 male connector for its connection type, and measures W12mm x H12mm x L61mm. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The switch's shape is an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel with a round actuator. It is constructed with a stainless steel housing for enhanced durability. The rated voltage for switching is 24Vdc, with a sensing distance ranging from 8mm (Sao) to 18mm (Sar). It includes 2 Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts with a contact type of 2NO (safety contact; reed) and does not have Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary contacts.
