Pilz PILZ-506231 is a complete magnetic safety switch designed for non-contact door switching applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and features a single connection design suitable for electronic or electromechanical relay systems. This part comes pre-wired with a 10m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. With dimensions of W12mm x H11mm x L59.1mm and an IP67 degree of protection, it is built for durability and resistance to dust and water ingress. The switch has an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a square actuator, constructed from PBT housing and PUR cable insulation for robustness. It operates at a rated voltage of 24Vdc and has a yellow housing for visibility. The sensing distance is 12mm (Sao) to 25mm (Sar), and it includes 3 Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts, comprising 2NO safety contacts (reed) and 1NO auxiliary contact, with no Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary contacts.
